It's been said that politics is a contact sport, and judging from the jabs and hooks already thrown on the campaign trail this year, the 2010 midterms are shaping up to be just that.

How much have you been following the downright nasty political punches this year?

See if you can match the insult with the injured candidate in this 2010 midterm matchup.

INSULTS:

1. The National Republican Senatorial Committee ran an ad calling this candidate a "mob banker" who Al Capone would be proud of.

2. This senate candidate has been called a "crotch-kicker" along with video showing her doing it in a wrestling ring.

3. Critics said voters in one southern state need a real leader instead of this "mudslinging liberal trial lawyer" overly concerned with "political attacks"

4. Democrats gave voters a lesson when they asked "How do you spell hypocrite?" and answered with this candidates last name.

5. After having to correct his resume a few times, this candidate was dubbed a "serial liar" by the opposing party.

6. One well-known politician dubbed this candidate a "huckster" during an ad portraying him as a TV salesman.

7. During a televised debate this candidate was told he needed to put on "his big boy pants" and stop complaining.

8. Two for the price of one: this gubernatorial candidate hit two opponents at once calling them "the apostles of darkness and ignorance" during a campaign stop.

9. In this party-on-party attack, one candidate was referred to as a "career fraudster."

10. Five senate candidates were dubbed the republican "dream team" who should all be "benched." How many can you guess?
