Hello, I’m Dave Marcus. I’m a columnist for Fox News Digital. My passion is going around the country and talking to people, telling their stories, and giving them a voice in the national political conversation. I landed in this line of work after 15 years in theater. It wasn’t as big a shift as one might think, because storytelling is storytelling, after all. Over the years I’ve been fortunate enough to write for outlets including The Federalist, The New York Times, New York Post, and Daily Mail, but now I’ve found a permanent home here at Digital. I am also the author of "Charade: The COVID Lies That Crushed A Nation."
I grew up reading America’s great city newspaper columnists, like Jimmy Breslin, Clark DeLeon, and Mike Royko. I try to bring that local column flavor to the national story, to be on the ground where news is happening, talking to the real, everyday people it is happening to. Whether on the road or at home in West Virginia, which is still odd to say after 20 years in New York, it is always my conversations with Americans that informs my analysis.
