Prior to joining Fox News, Rachel served as a Capitol Hill reporter for The Daily Signal, where she covered Congress and national politics and co-hosted The Daily Signal Podcast. She later served as Communications Director for House Homeland Security Chairman Mark Green and as Media Affairs Director for the House Homeland Security Committee. Rachel also served as Communications Director for Ohio Right to Life, leading strategic messaging and media engagement for one of the nation's oldest and most established pro-life organizations. 

Rachel graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Communication Arts with a concentration in Journalism. While at Franciscan, she held leadership positions with Students for Life and Young Americans for Freedom and served as a reporter and columnist for The Troubadour, the university's student newspaper. Her earlier professional experience includes internships with The Heritage Foundation, Family Research Council, National Center on Sexual Exploitation, and Judicial Watch. 

When she's not reporting, Rachel enjoys staying involved in public policy and cultural issues, mentoring young journalists, and telling stories that highlight faith, human dignity, and civic engagement.
