Peter has interviewed a range of celebrity chefs, from Alex Guarnaschelli and Robert Irvine to Fox News regular Andrew Gruel, and advocates for the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) movement, among them "Food Babe" Vani Hari and "The Earth Diet" author Liana Werner-Gray.

Before joining Fox News Digital, Peter spent two decades working in local television news, including a combined 16 years as a digital manager at WPLG, WPBF and WPTV in South Florida. His introduction to a TV newsroom was in his hometown of Jacksonville, where he began his professional career at WJXT.

Peter's career has placed him at the forefront of major events, from the 2017 Fort Lauderdale airport shooting and the Parkland school shooting tragedy in 2018 to serving as a witness to the execution of convicted murderer Duane Owen in 2023. He has interviewed musicians, including Roger Daltrey and Kenny Loggins, and actors like Burt Reynolds and William Shatner. He's also covered marquee sporting events such as Super Bowl LIV and multiple College Football Playoff National Championship games.

Peter graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in film studies.
