There is no reason to sound the alarm in Philadelphia after the Eagles’ late-game collapse against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.

However, the chemistry with this squad seems to be in question again after quarterback Jalen Hurts was once more caught in a moment that went viral involving his teammate.

Last week, Hurts and star receiver DeVonta Smith shared an awkward-silence moment on the sideline. Now, Hurts was caught in a hot-mic situation at the line of scrimmage in which he wasn’t happy with one of his receivers.

It was during the first quarter when Hurts wanted receiver Dontayvion Wicks to move off the line of scrimmage and go in motion. But Wicks didn’t understand his signal caller, and that led to an expletive being heard on the FOX broadcast.

"Get off the f---ing ball! Come on!" Hurts shouted at Wicks, who finally understood his assignment.

"Uh oh," Tom Brady was heard saying on the broadcast after Hurts’ curse at the line.

Brady’s play-by-play partner, Kevin Burkhardt, added: "That’s not good."

Philadelphia ended up leading Los Angeles 20-10 at halftime, so at the time, it wasn’t too bad. But things unraveled for the Eagles in the second half.

It was notable that the Eagles’ offense were without Smith, tight end Dallas Goedert, and running back Saquon Barkley went down early with a hamstring injury that forced him out of the game. However, it was shocking to see what the Eagles were doing, or rather not doing, on offense in the second half.

They didn’t convert a third down on any of their second-half drives, and seven of their 13 total times with the ball. Hurts only threw for 93 yards, which was a career low for the Super Bowl MVP in a game that he started and finished.

The Eagles’ defense, which had played a great game against Matthew Stafford and a high-powered Rams offense, couldn’t hold things together much longer in the fourth quarter. Los Angeles running back Kyren Williams scored two touchdowns in the fourth to take the lead and ultimately seal victory for the Rams in a 24-20 win on the road.

After the game, Hurts remained collected, as usual, no matter the result on the field.

"I have the utmost confidence in this team," he told reporters. "I have the utmost confidence in this group. We just have to endure. Be persistent and keep committing to one another."

Things get heated during games, but these are now back-to-back instances where Hurts has been at the center of a viral moment early this season. There are no more A.J. Brown comments or sideline moments to point at like last season.

Hurts and the Eagles, now 2-2 and looking up at the New York Giants in the NFC East race, will travel to London to face the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.
