Why women are staying single and not having kids

The thought of childless, single women over the age of 35 often conjures up the image of Carrie Bradshaw or Bridget Jones, desperately looking for love.

Author Melanie Notkin wants to change the conversation about women without kids. In her book, "Otherhood," Notkin explores stories of women today, many who expected to be married and become parents but found themselves facing different circumstances.

Fox News' Andrea Tantaros spoke to Notkin about "Otherhood" and the growing trend of women today living without children of their own. Watch the full interview in the video above.
