Indiana has become Ground Zero in the national battle to defund the largest abortion chain in America, Planned Parenthood.

As it well should be.

When I walked into the Bloomington, Indiana Planned Parenthood clinic posing as a 13-year-old girl impregnated by a 31-year-old man, I knew what would happen -- because the same thing had happened in all the other Planned Parenthood clinics I had already visited.

The counselor or nurse may acknowledge that she is required by law to report the abuse to Child Protective Services, but then assures me in the strictest confidence that she won't. Then she will coach me on how to circumvent parental notification laws by going out of state for the abortion, and tells me to lie about her boyfriend's age. Ultimately, I am promised an abortion and sent out the clinic door--back to the "boyfriend."

Sure enough, that’s what happened at this clinic, and in another in Indianapolis, and the Planned Parenthood employee was suspended and then subsequentlyfired.

Last month Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels signed a bill that would defund the abortion giant but an Obama-appointed judge ruled late last week that Indiana would have to reinstate the funds because it was in the “public interest” to do so since "the federal government has threatened partial or total withholding of federal Medicaid dollars to the State of Indiana."

Planned Parenthood claims that defunding their group in Indiana will “take away health care from thousands of women in Indiana, leaving them at greater risk for undetected cancers, untreated infections and unintended pregnancies.”

But Planned Parenthood employees tell a different story. Today, on June 29, Live Action is releasing videos where our group's undercover investigators called 16 of the 28 Indiana Planned Parenthood clinics posing as women who use Medicaid to pay for medical bills. They asked questions about where to obtain care and voiced concerns that the medical facilities be close by and must accept Medicaid.

In direct contrast to what Planned Parenthood has claimed, every single one of its own employees were quick to refer women to an abundance of other facilities, admitting they easily could access care elsewhere at another facility where Medicaid was accepted.

Despite the hysteria that Planned Parenthood and the Obama administration is attempting to create over the suspension of Medicaid funds, the group serves less than 1% of Medicaid patients in Indiana. While there are over 800 other Medicaid providers in the state available to Medicaid patients, there are only 28 Planned Parenthood centers.

The abortion chain wants us to believe they are somehow essential to providing care for Medicaid patients but in reality, Planned Parenthood's own staff admits ‘we aren’t your only option.’

Out of those 28 clinics, only 4 of them offer abortions yet Planned Parenthood still manages to perform over half of the abortions each year in the entire state of Indiana.

All Planned Parenthood would have to do in order to receive Medicaid funds is to stop doing abortions. But since abortions make money, there is no way that Planned Parenthood will consider giving up that money maker.

President Obama is holding low-income patients’ health hostage, threatening to block all Medicaid funds for vulnerable patients, all to force Indiana into funding the largest abortion provider in the country.

Texas and Wisconsin became the fourth and fifth states this week to defund Planned Parenthood And now President Obama is using Indiana to make an example of what will happen to states that dare try to defund this corrupt and abusive abortion chain.

Planned Parenthood has lied in covering up sex trafficking, lied about abusing taxpayer dollars, lied about providing mammograms and now it is lying about Medicaid –  all in the interest of money.

Let's be clear here, it appears that Planned Parenthood’s number one priority is an abortion agenda, and the profits from abortions, not women.

Today we also launch a ‘Stand with Indiana’ petition exposing Planned Parenthood’s deception and demanding that President Obama revoke his intervention on their behalf.

It’s time that taxpayers stop funding the abortion giant and that President Obama is not allowed to put the interests of the abortion industry above the interests of women and health care.
