Gretchen's Take: We need a solution to mass violence
We need a multi-tiered approach, not just political talk
The sheriff in Oregon asked the media to not name the killer and we here at 'The Real Story' have decided to honor his request so as to not glorify the gunman and hopefully stop any copycats who think they might become famous from committing a similar horrific act.
Equally important is coming up with a solution. instead of immediately jumping to political talk- like "we need more gun control" to "we already have enough lws on the books" to we need to protect individual gun ownership rights" to " we ned to make it more difficult for people to obtain weapons".
Seems to me that we keep having these shootings and say we're going to do something about it and we don't. We need a solution, a multi-tiered approach ... and not just political talk.
