Woman Drags Her Newborn Baby Down the Aisle on the Back of Her Wedding Dress

Every woman wants her wedding dress to be unique, but few are willing to go as far as a recent bride in Tennessee.

Shona Carter-Brooks of Jackson, Tennessee, didn't bother with an unconventional color or a memorable veil. Instead, she literally incorporated her newborn child into the spectacle that was her wedding gown, dragging her baby girl down the aisle on the train of her dress:

Obviously, Carter-Brooks' decision has already attracted plenty of online criticism, with one of the funniest, and perhaps most sensible, coming from a commenter at ClutchMagOnline: "Lol, if she wanted to include the baby, why not just carry the child and hold her during the ceremony?"

And these criticisms didn't fall on deaf ears. Carter-Brooks has already defended her odd attire on her Facebook page, which read (in part): "Our 1 month old was awake and well secured on my train. Most important while yall got ya feelings in us we had our hearts in Christ which covers all!"

Carter-Brooks, however, didn't quite deny that attaching her newborn to her gown was an odd choice.
