Two members of the Detroit Pistons’ spirit squad are headed to the altar, after “Extreme Team” member Ryan popped the question to dancer Jenn with an epically choreographed midcourt routine during a timeout in the third quarter of a recent game.

On Feb. 11, the NBA Pistons played the Washington Wizards on their home court at Little Caesars Arena, and fans were surprised with quite the romantic performance by the Extreme Team squad, CBS Sports reports.

In video footage that has since gone massively viral, Jenn is seated on the court while Ryan and his entourage dance, move and groove to Bruno Mars’ hit tune “Marry You.” Pulling out all the stops for the apple of his eye, Ryan breakdances, backflips, throws on a blazer and checks his hair – all in stride – before getting down on one knee.

Jenn, meanwhile, said yes – to the delight of the crowd and the collective Internet. Footage of the sweet scene – shared to Twitter by the NBA – has since been viewed over 538,000 times in less than 24 hours, winning thousands of likes and comments.

“Good job boy, congrats,” one fan wrote.

“That was awesome,” another agreed.

“So cute,” one chimed in.

Others, meanwhile, were a bit more shaken by the extremely public and elaborate proposal.

“I am horrified,” one cynic declared.

“Imagine fighting for a playoff spot and having to deal with this in the middle of the 3rd quarter,” another agreed.

“Imagine saying no,” another cringed.

“Lol is this still a thing... I feel for the girl,” one said.

As noted by the Detroit Free Press, midgame proposals are becoming something of a local tradition for the Pistons dance squad. Last year, dancer Erynn was surprised at the end of a routine with a marriage proposal from her beau — albeit with a little a little help from Hooper the mascot, and less theatrics.

All judgements aside, cheers to a happily ever after for the future bride and groom — both on and off the court.
