Man Awarded $650,000 After Suffering Injuries From Lap Dance

A Florida man was awarded $650,000 for injuries he suffered during a lap dance at a strip club, NBC Miami reported.

Michael Ireland suffered a punctured eye socket and broken facial bones from a dancer’s high heel when she got a little too close.

Ireland has permanent double vision, according to his attorney.

"When this case was first filed, many people criticized it simply because it occurred at a strip club," said Lake Lytal, Ireland's attorney. "But we feel the $650,000 settlement goes to show that this was a serious case with serious injuries."
