Landis Sims, 10 years old and born without hands or lower legs, became a Yankee for a day, getting his own locker at George M. Steinbrenner Field — between pitchers CC Sabathia and Dellin Betances — and participating in most of the team’s pre-game activities as he sported a Masahiro Tanaka jersey.
