Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla got one of its tallest visits ever, FOX 5 San Diego reported.

“He loves to get petted and patients love to pet him,” said pet handler Pat Malcom about his Great Dane, Bentley.

The 3-year-old, 190-pound dog is anything but your average therapy dog, and that’s because he literally stands above the rest.

Bentley stands at nearly 7 feet tall on his hind legs, and his extraordinary height is being put to good use

Bentley already has the title of world’s largest service dog and is currently in the running for the title of tallest dog, in the Guinness Book of Records.
