
These are fresh-out-of-the-oven good! (Crown Maple)
A hint of maple from Crown Maple is the perfect compliment to a traditional chocolate chip cookie.

Ingredients:
10 ounce Unsalted butter
1 3/4 cup + 2 tablespoons maple sugar
1/2 cup Light brown sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
2 Large eggs
1 lb 4 oz All Purpose Flour
1 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
1 1/4 teaspoon Baking soda
2 cup Milk chocolate chunks
1/2 cup Maple pearls
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper or spray lightly with non-stick cooking spray
In a mixing bowl cream together the butter, maple sugar, brown sugar, salt and vanilla until thoroughly mixed. Add eggs one at a time, making sure to scrape the sides of the bowl
In a seperate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and baking soda. Add dry ingredients, maple pearls and chocolate chunks to the butter mixture. Mix until combined
Drop tablespoons of dough onto the cookie sheets about 2 inches apart
Bake for 8-12 minutes, turning and rotating halfway through. Cookies are done when they turn a golden color. Allow to cool on the baking pan for 1-2 minutes.
