There’s a new hot Doritos snack in town…but you have to wade through the frozen food aisle to get it.

Doritos Loaded  first debuted in 7-Eleven stores in 2014. They're a 3-D version of the popular tortilla chip that come in triangle-shaped bites filled with with melted cheese-- all covered in a crispy Doritos-flavored crust.

Frito-Lay has deemed the creation the first “Inside-Out” nacho-- because dipping is just too difficult sometimes.

TASTE TEST: THE ULTIMATE FLAVORED TORTILLA CHIP

This month, Doritos released the convenience store snack in two versions now available at the grocery store: Doritos Loaded Nacho Cheese and the spicier Doritos Loaded Jalapeno & Cheese.

Our Chew on This tasters had some surprising reactions to Doritos' newest offering.

"It smells like a mozzarella stick," said one Chew on This taster.

"It actually kindof feels like a chicken nugget."

"You can definitely smell the jalapeno in there"

So how do the new Loaded snacks taste?

"Mmm, it's like a Doritos-crusted jalapeno popper," said one excited taster.

"I'm surprised at how good it is!"

Despite the satisfyingly crunchy chip-like exterior, most tasters wanted more cheese in the middle of the loaded bites.

WE TRIED THE WORLD'S SPICIEST TORTILLA CHIP...AND IT MADE US CRY

"The fry-coating to cheese ratio is a bit off."

And if you're not a big fan of spice, don't worry. These "chips" don't pack a serious peppery punch and most tasters were ready for another round after finishing one triangle.

If you’re up to the challenge, the new Doritos Loaded are in stores now and retail for about $5 a box.
