A California couple said “I do” over the weekend in the frozen food aisle of their local Costco.
Robert Bonilla wed Meredith (no last name given) at the Santa Maria, CA Costco, reports KEYT-TV. The duo reportedly met at the giant discount chain a year ago and it held a special place in their hearts.
Bonilla stood on wooden pallets while his bride walked down the make-shift aisle lined with seasonal poinsettias.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds relaxed in a discount double recliner.
For couples looking to wed at their local Costco, note that the chain made an exception after hearing the unusual story of how the bride and groom met. The couple was granted special permission to hold their ceremony in the chain after it had closed for regular business hours.
