Ben & Jerry’s has created two new flavors aimed at tickling our taste buds and funny bones.

To honor the 40th anniversary of  “Saturday Night Live,” the ice cream maker has debuted two SNL-themed flavors.

Gilly's Catastrophic Crunch -- based on Kristen Wiig's SNL character –has a marshmallow swirl "as frantic and mischievous as the flavor's namesake," and combines chocolate and sweet cream ice creams, with caramel clusters and fudge covered almonds.

Lazy Sunday has vanilla cake batter ice cream with yellow and chocolate cupcake pieces and a swirl of chocolate frosting --based on the sketch with Andy Samberg and Chris Parnell where they go on, and on, and on about their love of Magnolia cupcakes.

It's not the first time Ben & Jerry’s has created flavors based on some of the country’s most beloved comedic characters or sketches. It's previously released flavors like Liz Lemon, a lemon frozen Greek yogurt based on Tina Fey's "30 Rock” character and Scotchy Scotch Scotch in a nod to Will Ferrell’s Ron Burgundy character in the “Achorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.” And then there was the infamous flavor Schweddy Balls.

The ice cream maker says more SNL-themed flavors will be released later this year.  For now, these new flavors are only available at scoop shops across the U.S. and Canada –and not grocery stores.
