On Monday, the Utah Jazz signed 5-year-old JP Gibson to a one-day contract and held a press conference to announce the acquisition.
In 2012, Gibson was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Later on Monday, the youngster got the opportunity to make his Jazz debut during the team's Blue-White preseason scrimmage. In the video below, watch Gibson nonchalantly check into the game with a five to point guard Toure Murray. Then watch Gibson flash some nice ballhandling skills as he makes his way down the court before becoming probably the only kid in his kindergarten class to dunk in an NBA game.
