If you've ever wondered why Leonardo DiCaprio always looks lost in thought, it's possibly because he's formulating his next eloquent tweet.
Using a reading comprehension test called the Simple Measure of Gobbledygook (SMOG), TIME.com has ranked DiCaprio as Twitter's smartest celebrity. His tweets — or more accurately, the three-syllable words therein — reportedy require 7.5 years of education to accurately comprehend, making him the most well-spoken of Twitter's 500 most-followed celebs.
TIME's analysis, however, didn't include celebrities who tweet in foreign languages, as SMOG only analyzes Engish. And, by TIME's own admission, the SMOG sometimes incorrectly regard three-syllable slang terms as valid words.
Check out the their top-five "smartest" celebrities below (along with a sampling of their tweets), then head over to TIME.com for the complete list.
#1. Leonardo DiCaprio (Reading Level: 7.5)
