LOS ANGELES – George Lopez's show on TBS has been canceled, the network announced Wednesday, according to TMZ.
The last episode of the late-night show, which has been on the air for two seasons, will air Thursday night.
"TBS has reached the difficult decision not to order a third season of Lopez Tonight," the network said in a statement.
Lopez, 50, is not the only one with rating problems. TMZ reported Conan O'Brien's show, which aired just before Lopez's, pulled in an anemic 0.5 rating Monday in the key 18-49 demographic with 715,000 viewers. Lopez's ratings hovered around 0.2, with 400,000 viewers, TMZ said.
Lopez was the first Mexican-American to host a late night talk show on a US English-language network.
