Steven Tyler's Beauty Routine: Facials and Fake Eyelashes

Hard rocker turned "American Idol" judge Steven Tyler took some time out from his new television gig last week for a few hours of rest and relaxation – and revealed a few secrets about his grooming regime along the way.

FOX411's Pop Tarts spies spotted the 62-year-old and his longtime lover, model Erin Brady, at Roger Neal’s Style Hollywood Oscar Suite at swanky Beverly Hills Hotel L'Ermitage where he suddenly bellowed out from behind a private white curtain: “This is an oh-my-god moment!"

But phew, he was apparently just getting a deluxe G.M Collin Skincare Phyto Stem Cell facial, which was later followed by a BAO Beverly Hills reflexology massage, and permanent eyelash extensions by Daniel Dinh. He also opted for makeup by Shaboom .

Yes, it seems Tyler has no shame in being primed, pampered and fluttering false lashes.

And while we hear the Aerosmith front-man was more than happy to pose with every designer who dished out some swag to him (which is a refreshing change from most celebs who refuse to be photographed with products for fear of violating an exclusivity contract with a competitive brand, or are afraid they may miss out on a high-priced deal in the future) there was one thing he wasn't up for…

We're told the now strictly sober Steven Tyler requested that the Moreno champagne bar be covered with a tarp during his visit, and given that he slipped a little in late 2009 and ended up back in rehab battling substance abuse issues,  it is encouraging to hear he isn’t taking chances.
