LOS ANGELES – Bobbi Kristina Brown’s father, Bobby Brown, may be holding on to false hope that his daughter will make a recovery, a source will knowledge of the situation told FOX411.
The 21-year-old daughter of the late Whitney Houston reportedly suffered from “violent seizures” earlier this week after being taken out of a medically-induced coma, forcing to doctors to place her back into the coma that she has been in for almost a month.
According to our source, while Bobbi Kristina, who was found unresponsive in a bathtub on Jan. 31, has not had any more seizures, she has shown “absolutely no signs of life lately.”
“It is really on Bobby Brown’s shoulders to let her go in peace,” continued the insider, adding that even her grandmother Cissy Houston has come to terms with the idea of removing her life support.
“It is something that the Houston and Brown [families] had agreed to do as early as February 11, but Bobby Brown reneged,” the source told us.
On Jan 31, Bobbi Kristina was rushed to an Atlanta hospital after she was discovered face down in a bathtub. She was then reportedly placed in a medically-induced coma.
Disturbing details leading up to the tragic event emerged in recent weeks – including a 911 call made by neighbors pertaining to a domestic dispute at Brown’s address a week earlier.
The extent of her injuries remains unknown and while police have revealed few details surrounding the situation, an investigation was launched, with authorities later confirming that it was criminal in nature.
"Foul play is being investigated, including drug use and possibly cover-up to remove evidence from the crime scene," a family source recently told PEOPLE magazine.
Bobbi Kristina’s partner Nick Gordon, who she routinely referred to as her “husband”—though Bobby Brown’s lawyer has since dismissed her claims that they were married— has taken to Twitter to slam Bobby Brown throughout the ordeal.
“My heart is full of angry after the Browns have shut me out they don’t even know her. Sabotage,” he tweeted on Wednesday. “Whitney told me to protect and I did with no help.”
He continued the public social media blasting on Thursday, writing that “it’s funny how I tried to the (sic) repair the relationship between bobby and Stina and he does me like this.”
Representatives for Bobbi Kristina and Bobby Brown did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Brown is the only daughter to famed musicians Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston. In eerily similar circumstances, Houston was found face-down and unresponsive on Feb 11, 2012 in bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. She later died, with authorities determining accidental drowning as the cause of death, as well as heart disease and cocaine use as contributing factors.
