Sitting barefoot, surrounded by children and with her baby on her lap, a teenage Sofía Vergara was immortalized in a picture while celebrating her son’s first Halloween.
On Tuesday, the “Modern Family” actress posted an adorable picture of her 19-year-old self cradling her then tiny son Manolo Gonzalez-Ripoll Vergara – he was just one month old when the photo was taken.
“22 years ago in Barranquilla!!! Manolo’s first Holloweeeen! He was one month old ❤❤❤❤❤,” the throwback picture's caption reads on Twitter.
The photograph was taken in her hometown of Barranquilla, Colombia, where she had married her high school sweetheart just a year before having her son. The 44-year-old actress looks like a kid herself in the old photograph, with her youthful face blending in with the costumed children around her.
Vergara could not have imagined at the time the photo was taken what her life would be, but fast-forward 22 years and the mega star is sharing her photo to her more than 5.2 million online fans, starring on a hit TV show and producing two others – including one about her life as a single mother.
