Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello might be putting pen to paper on their wedding plans.
Us Magazine reported the couple, who got engaged this past December, were in Florida over the weekend to scope out The Breakers resort in Palm Springs as a potential wedding location.
“(They) were very affectionate,” a source told the magazine. “Joe had his hand on her back.”
While dining at the venue’s restaurant, the “Modern Family” actress, 42, and the “Magic Mike” hunk, 38, were also discussing a cake for their big day.
A witness told Us Magazine that the cake they were looking at was “six tiers and elaborate.”
Although it seems like Vergara and Manganiello are on schedule with their wedding plans, it won’t be for a while longer.
At the Vanity Fair Oscars party, the couple revealed that their plans for a summer wedding had been put on hold because Manganiello will be busy promoting “Magic Mike XXL.”
“We want to get married at a time when we can get away and make time for a honeymoon. So the wedding will probably be later this year,” she told the New York Post’s Page Six.
That said, it will definitely be sooner rather than later.
“It’s going to be a lot of people,” Vergara told Entertainment Tonight at the Screen Actors Guild awards. “It has to be a lot of people. We sat down and tried, ‘OK, let’s see if we can do like 20 and 20,’ and it was impossible.”
