Latinos Glam up the Emmy Red Carpet
Latinos won big at the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.
Aside from what she’d like you to think, Sofia Vergara’s wardrobe malfunction at the Emmy Awards on Sunday was no laughing matter.
New details published by the New York Post reveal that Vergara was in fact frantic and in tears when the incident occurred. She ran backstage to try to fix the broken zipper that revealed her famous backside.
Using her fiancé Nick Loeb’s jacket to cover herself, Vergara was overheard crying and yelling “Wardobe! Warobe!,” an inside source told the Post.
While Vergara frantically looked for help, the source says her fiancé was lackadaisical.
“Nick was trailing in the back looking annoyed,” the source said.
One observer even overheard Loeb complaining and saying, “Ugh, I need to smoke a cigarette. Her dress got stuck on the seat and made a huge rip. Her whole [bleep]ing a** was sticking out.”
“He was huffing and puffing,” the source added. “He didn’t say anything to comfort her.”
Vergara was the first to reveal her wardrobe malfunction when she took to her Twitter account late Sunday night.
While celebrating at an Emmy’s after party, Vergara tweeted a picture of the broken zipper on her fitted sequined gown that revealed the star’s behind.
"Yes!!!! This happened 20 min before we won!!!!" Vergara said in her tweet. "Jajajajja. I luv my life!!!!"
Not letting the mishap deter her night, Vergara and Loeb danced the night away with her “Modern Family” costars as they celebrated the show’s third consecutive win for best Comedy series.
