Four months after Shia LaBeouf’s infamous “Cabaret” meltdown, the actor animatedly recounted the events that led to his arrest — and he didn’t spare any details.
The 28-year-old “Fury” actor told Jimmy Kimmel on Monday that his saga kicked off in Ireland, where he had been drinking whiskey. He continued to throw back drinks after arriving in New York and starting to watch the World Cup.
“You drink a lot of whiskey during the World Cup, it seems,” quipped LaBeouf. “It makes it all fun.”
Taking a quick break from the bar, LaBeouf stepped outside to have a cigarette and ended up meeting a homeless Marine.
“I start talking to him, we start getting into a conversation, and then a woman runs up and starts taking pictures of me with her cellphone and trips him out,” he recalled.
