Shakira's son can read at 20 months of age, proud mom shows feat in cute video

Shakira is a doting, devoted mom and she is proudly showing the results of her efforts for the world to see.

In a 30-second video posted on Facebook, she is seen with her son Milan on her lap, as the 20-month-old quite precociously reads a few words she is writing on a pad.

Titled “Learning to read with mommy,” the Colombian singer is shown writing several words like “mama” and “papa” and then asking, “What does it say here, my love?” in Spanish.

When he reads the words – which also include “tata” and “nana” – Shakira celebrates like the proud mom that she is.

“Bravo bebe!” she says at the end of the posting.

The 37-year-old singer will soon be adding a second baby to her growing family. She and boyfriend Gerard Pique recently confirmed they are expecting their second son.
