The wait is finally over.
Pop singer/songwriter Shakira has released the music video to her “Sale el sol” single. The Colombian native made the announcement early Thursday via Twitter.
In this single, Shakira sings about weathering a storm and seeing the sun rise after the turmoil.
Shakira seems to have had some turmoil of her own. Shakira and her boyfriend of 11 years, Antonio de la Rua, reportedly broke up recently, although they have not dissolved their professional relationship.
Numerous newspapers and media outlets have speculated that Shakira is having a secret love affair with soccer star Gerard Piqué.
Last week, Piqué posted on his Facebook a photo of him and Shakira among a group of friends celebrating his and her birthdays, which coincidentally is the same day.
In the video, the Colombian beauty teases her audience with her fit body as she rips open her shirt, exposing only a black bra as the video comes to an end.
