Selena Gomez is apparently taking a page from pro-border advocates and is reportedly building a large fence around her Los Angeles home to keep intruders out.

According to TMZ, the former Disney star is putting a perimeter gate around her $3 million Calabasas estate, which she bought last month.

The 21-year-old star has not been feeling very safe after an intruder barged into her property twice while she was home last month.

Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies arrested 20-year-old Che Cruz on trespassing charges. According to police, he knocked on her door and asked for the actress when a friend answered. The friend slammed the door on his face.

Cruz was later found in the guesthouse and arrested.

Cruz was sentenced to 45 days in jail, but records show he was released after serving seven days. Deputies re-arrested Cruz about eight hours after his release when he was again spotted near Gomez’s house.

Gomez’s, five-bedroom, 7,200-square-foot Calabasas abode is minutes away from the former home of her on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber. His home was recently purchased by one of the Kardashian sisters.
