'Riverdale' stars Camila Mendes and Lili Reinhart don't shy away from sex talk

"Riverdale" star Camila Mendes graces the cover of Cosmopolitan.

The ladies of “Riverdale” aren’t shy when it comes to talking about sex.

“I’m very open sexually. I love to talk about it,” Lili Reinhart, who plays Betty Cooper on the hit CW drama, said in the February issue of Cosmopolitan.

Her co-star Camila Mendes, who plays Betty’s BFF Veronica Lodge, added that talking about sex is how the pair bonded in real life.

“I didn’t initially think you would be willing to talk about sex,” Mendes, 23, said to Reinhart, 21. “And then once we started, I was like, ‘Oh my God!'”

The topic of sex continued through the interview as Mendes spilled on what she wants out of sex.

“I’ve never liked this idea of ‘Don’t give him everything.’ Like, you’ve given someone all of yourself by having sex with them. What’s valuable to me is giving you my love and my intimacy,” she said. “I want to tell [guys], ‘Don’t have sex at me — have sex with me.’ I want them to understand that it’s so much better when we’re connected.”

Reinhart also opened up about losing her virginity.

“I was like, ‘So this is sex!’ And then you have sex with someone else, and you’re like, ‘Holy s–t — this is so different,'” she said. “What you want, what feels good to you — it’s all going to change with every partner you have.”

Reinhart has been rumored to be dating their co-star Cole Sprouse. It was recently reported the pair spent New Year’s Eve together in Hawaii.
