Looks like Luis Miguel and ex-girlfriend Aracely Arámbula are back in the news, and not for a good reason.
According to reports by several news sources, including TMZ.com, the Mexican crooner has been neglecting the couple’s two children and has not been paying regular child support.
The website says the 43-year-old singer, who has not seen songs Miguel, 6, and Daniel, 4, in more than six months, reportedly gives Arámbula some money only here and there.
TMZ said Arámbula is upset because she has no financial support to rely on.
Arámbula, a Mexican actress/singer, and Luis Miguel broke up three years ago and she moved from Beverly Hills to Mexico with the children. The couple was together for five years.
At this time, Luis Miguel’s reps have not been reachable. He has a third child, Michelle, with Mexican singer/actress Stephanie Salas.
Newspapers in Mexico say Arámbula is preparing for the release of an album next year. In a recent interview she admitted it has been difficult to leave her children while she completes her professional obligations.
Luis Miguel is currently dating Polish model Kasia Sowinska, while Arámbula is in a relationship with Argentinean-Mexican actor Sebastián Rulli.
