LOS ANGELES -- Police want to search the California home of troubled actress Lindsay Lohan after naming her Tuesday as a suspect in the theft of "high-end jewelry."
A search warrant for Lohan's Venice Beach, Calif., home was requested at Los Angeles' Airport Court Tuesday, RadarOnline reported.
Police told the court they have video footage of Lohan, 24, wearing the missing jewelry.
"Lindsay is being accused of stealing high-end jewelry, including a necklace," a law enforcement source told the entertainment website.
Lohan, who is on probation, could be charged with a felony if the jewelry is valued at more than $5,000.
Lohan was released from the Betty Ford Center in January, having entered after testing positive for cocaine while on probation for a 2007 DUI case. She has been in rehab five times.
Her next court appearance on the DUI matter is scheduled for February 25.
It was unknown if the search warrant was granted.
