LOS ANGELES – Disney night wasn't the happiest place on earth for "Full House" star Jodie Sweetin as she went off the beat during her Monday night performance on "Dancing with the Stars."
Sweetin said her "Zootopia"-themed dance with partner Keo Motsepe faltered when she couldn't hear their song, "Try Everything" due to fans screaming in the audience.
Although Sweetin wasn't eliminated on Monday (Marla Maples was sent home instead), she only received 27 out of 40 points from the judges.
Sweetin appeared to be confused on the dance floor and Motsepe tried to get her back on track.
After the dance, judge Carrie Ann Inaba asked her, "I'm just curious, because it was an underwhelming performance and I know that you know that, but, like, what happened?"
Sweetin explained on camera, "I couldn't hear the music. Our amazing fans were so wonderful, and screaming, and I couldn't hear the music."
The fans screamed again, drowning her out, and Sweetin told them, "But thank you!"
Inaba gave her tough love, saying, "It's so nice to receive all that energy but it's really important to zoom into each other…Keo was there for you."
Strangely, Mischa Barton also said she couldn't hear her song after a poor performance earlier this season. "The O.C." star was eliminated last week.
Meanwhile, other "DWTS" competitors found Disney night magical and racked up big scores.
Martial arts fighter Paige VanZant's "Toy Story" quickstep with partner Mark Ballas and Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy's foxtrot based on "Beauty and the Beast" both nabbed 36 from the judges for a first place tie.
After the show, VanZant told reporters, "Whenever I get to the judges, I'm just so happy I made it through the routine that I can't listen. I just say lots of thank yous!"
"GMA" weathergal Zee said of her dance, "It felt so good! We had to execute and we did it."
Val was thrilled his 2013 "DWTS" partner, former "Shake it Up" Disney star Zendaya, came back to the show to be a guest judge this week alongside the regulars.
"Talk about grace, talk about presence…she's a role model…to young women to believe in themselves," Val raved.
Boyz II Men singer Wanya Morris and Lindsay Arnold's ' samba interpretation of "The Lion King" impressed the judges, as he received 35 points.
Although he had to don a bulky costume as the Lion, Morris confided he has lost 22 pounds on the show so far and sighed to FOX411 he was eating, "protein and salads."
He crowed that the "DWTS" costumers, "each week, they take it in a little bit more."
Football player Antonio Brown, with Sharna Burgess, also excelled, scoring a 35.
Brown brought a jazz routine based on "Aladdin" to life and told FOX411, "I just listened to her, took all the details, and made sure to do the dance as best as I could."
Deaf "America's Next Top Model" star Nyle DiMarco caused a stir by showing his six pack as a shirtless "Tarzan" and continued to amaze by staying on beat without hearing a note of the song "Trashin' the Camp."
Still clad in his loincloth, determined DiMarco, who got 34 points, said through an interpreter, "The competition is not easy…but that's why I took this opportunity. It's an amazing challenge."
DiMarco's partner Peta Murgatroyd, who is engaged to former "DWTS" pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy, told reporters they don't have much time for wedding planning.
"We are super happy and we're just so content with how we are right now. This whole year, we realized, is so booked up that it has to be mid-2017. We know where we want [the wedding] to be…the style of dress and all that but that's about it," Murgatroyd said. (Viewers' note: Maks will serve as a "DWTS" guest judge next week).
"The Facts of Life" star Kim Fields and partner Sasha Farber garnered 32 for their "Jungle Book" quickstep, while Von Miller and Witney Carson also scored 32 for "Cinderella," and Marla Maples and Tony Dovolani got a 28 (and a ticket home) for their "The Little Mermaid" routine.
Rehearsal cameras caught former quarterback Doug Flutie angrily breaking his cane in rehearsal as he and partner Karina Smirnoff worked on their "Mary Poppins" jazz number.
"It's day one of a new dance and I'm doing a new step and it was taking me longer than I thought it should have to get it and I got frustrated," Flutie shrugged backstage to FOX411.He earned 24 points.
But there will be no frustration next week as there will be no elimination: the competitors will change partners in the infamous "DWTS" "switch up" twist.
