Rebel Wilson credits her weight with making her funnier.

"Bigger girls do better in comedy. I don't know why. Maybe because people find it easier to laugh," the 28-year-old Aussie actress told Australia's Daily Life. "It's very hard to laugh at someone who's very attractive, I think. And normally those people don't have a great personality anyway."

One of Wilson's more recognizable roles is as Fat Amy in "Pitch Perfect," and she admits that like her character, she owns her size. "I took something that was seen as a disadvantage -- no one thinks, if you're fat, that you're going to be an actress and everyone's going to love you -- and turned it into a positive."

Though confident in her own skin, the "Bridesmaids" actress does confess that she's pondered shrinking down to a "twig b---h."

"I do have these dreams, like, 'What if I just went to a health farm and lost 50 kilos? What would happen? Would it affect my career?'" she says. "But then I think, that's never going to happen."

That being said about her comedy, Wilson adds that she's also interested in taking on more serious acting roles, mentioning Cate Blanchett as a star she admires. "I'll have to go super dark when I go dark," she quips. "You don't want people to think, 'Is this Fat Amy?' "
