Powered by the hot “Real Housewives of Atlanta” franchise and the premiere of “Blood, Sweat & Heels,” Bravo delivered its highest-rated night ever in key demos Sunday.

The 8 p.m. episode of “Real Housewives” averaged a 2.1 rating/6 share in adults 18-49 and a series-best 4.52 million viewers overall, according to Nielsen, beating out ABC’s “The Bachelor” special in the demo and finishing behind only a football-boosted Fox for its timeslot. It was cable’s No. 1 program for the day in adults 18-49, 25-54 and 18-34, as well as all key female demos and total viewers.

“Housewives” led into the debut of “Blood, Sweat & Heels” (1.1/3 in 18-49, 2.47 million viewers overall), which became Bravo’s highest-rated series premiere among all key demos in network history and was cable’s No. 2 show of the night in 18-49. The show follows a group of up-and-coming women in New York’s elite circles of real estate, fashion and media.

And at 10 p.m., the season finale of “Thicker Than Water” averaged a 1.0 rating in adults 18-49 and 2.29 million total viewers — establishing series highs in key demos.
