Country music star Randy Travis was arrested in a Dallas suburb Monday on suspicion of public intoxication.

Cops found the singer with an open bottle of wine in his car, which was parked in front of the Sanger Baptist Church in Denton County, the Dallas Morning News reported.

According to TMZ, a passerby reported a suspicious vehicle parked in the area.

The 52-year-old crooner only spent a brief time behind bars Monday morning and is expected to face a public intoxication charge, a class C misdemeanor.

Travis, who filed for divorce from his wife in October 2010 after 19 years, owns the Chrysalis Ranch located north of Dallas in Tioga.
