Robin Thicke says he’s trying to get Paula back
Robin Thicke confessed that he’s just trying to get Paula Patton back.
Though Paula Patton ended her 10-year marriage to Robin Thicke just over a year ago, she still looks back fondly on their time together.
On Throwback Thursday, the 40-year-old actress shared an old photo of her with the 39-year-old "Blurred Lines" singer. "Memories... I always try to only remember what was fun and made me smile. My friend showed me this and it took my breath away," Patton captioned the image. "We were babies and we had a beautiful baby. What an amazing time in my life. No regrets!"
She added: "Celebrating this amazing life we get to live never knowing what's coming next. Love is always the answer."
Patton met Thicke in 1991 when they were both teenagers, and began dating two years later. They were married in 2005 and welcomed their son Julian in 2010. In February 2014, the two announced they were separating, and finalized their divorce last year.
In March, Patton told ET that she was ready to find love again, and admitted to being a "next-level romantic" when it came to ultimately finding her "perfect match."

"It is a beautiful thing to find your partner in crime. It's a great way to live your life," she said. "If you have met your perfect match and it was working, stay with it. Do not give up. Hold onto that because it is special."
Despite her split from Thicke, who is now dating 21-year-old model April Love Geary, Patton was insistent that she wasn't giving up on love. "I am a nurturing and very passionate person," she continued. "I love to love and I believe in love so much. ...No matter what happens, love hurts. But it feels amazing, so you got to get back up and give it a go again."
