The Paula Deen racism scandal is having a serious impact on the TV chef's book sales.

In a good way.

Deen's cookbook “Paula Deen’s New Testament: 250 Favorite Recipes, All Lightened Up” has gone from a ranking in the 1,500s on Monday to #18 on Wednesday on the online bookseller Amazon.com.

That is #18 among all books, not just cookbooks.

'New Testament' is also the No. 1 selling cookbook on the site's "Diet" and "Regional" cookbook lists.

More On This...

And its not even out until October.

Deen was dumped by the Food Network, Caesars Entertainment and Smithfield Brands, which makes ham, after it was revealed she admitted in a sworn deposition in May to using the N-word decades ago.

Several other companies affiliated with Deen have stood by the star.
