House Speaker Paul Ryan isn’t a fan of George Clooney’s emails.
Ryan claims he received an email from Clooney asking to pony up $33,400 for a ticket to a Hillary Clinton fundraiser.
According to the New York Post’s Page Six, Ryan wrote about Clooney in a message to his supporters.
“Hillary Clinton is riding a huge wave of support from the liberal media and celebrities in Hollywood,” Ryan wrote. “Just the other day, I received an e-mail from George Clooney asking people to support Hillary … George Clooney isn’t the only celebrity to endorse Hillary — virtually all of Hollywood is falling in line behind Hillary.”
Clooney has showed his support for the Democratic Party throughout the years. In 2012, Clooney helped raise $15 million in a fundraiser for Barack Obama and has said in regards to Clinton that he will do “whatever she wants, whatever way I can help.”
On April 16, George and his wife Amal are hosting a dinner party for Clinton at their Los Angeles home with tickets priced at $33,400. Anna Wintour and Christina Aguilera have also hosted parties for the presidential hopeful.
And while Ryan is correct that some celebs -- like Kim Kardashian, Demi Lovato, Lena Dunham and Britney Spears -- are staunch Hillary supporters, many Hollywood liberals have declared they “Feel the Bern.” Will Ferrell, Sarah Silverman, Mark Ruffalo, Roger Walters, Susan Sarandon and Mimi Kennedy are just a few of the stars that have thrown their support behind Bernie Sanders.
Kennedy told FOX411 in December why she believed many celebrities relate to Sanders.
“It’s based on attraction, not loyalty,” she said. “Bernie doesn’t bully you into being loyal to him. Bernie just does what he thinks and then you are attracted by it," she said. "It’s more a freedom and I think that’s another reason why celebrities like him.”
Reps for Clooney and Ryan did not immediately return FOX411’s request for comment.
