'America's Got Talent' host almost took a very different career path
Nick Cannon’s non-stop 9 to 5 grind landed him in the hospital.
The “America’s Got Talent” host posted a bedside selfie from his hospital room Wednesday, sporting a bucket hat and somber expression while hooked up to a handful of monitors.
“Don’t worry, Temporary pit stop …” Cannon explained in the Instagram caption. “Sometimes I can be a little too bull headed and stubborn. I gotta stop running my body to the ground. I be wanting to grind nonstop but the engine can’t run on fumes.”
Cannon, who suffered “mild kidney failure” back in 2012, attempted to make light of his current predicament by comparing himself to a certain Dark Knight.
“On the low though, I really think I’m a super hero… Now I’m not saying I’m Batman, but I am saying nobody has ever seen me and Batman in the same room together. LOL #ImGood.”
