The fate of "Celebrity Apprentice" has been called into question after the show's host, Donald Trump, announced his White House bid Tuesday.

As networks are not allowed to give candidates disproportionate airtime, NBC told FOX411 they "will re-evaluate Trump’s role as host of 'Celebrity Apprentice' should it become necessary, as we are committed to this franchise."

The network announced it was renewing the reality show for another season in February. The program has seen an increase in ratings since last season.

According to TMZ, the show will be put on hold during Trump's presidential run and will wait to resume until after his campaign.
