Oscar-winning ctress Liza Minnelli has checked into rehab to get help for her substance abuse issues.
The actress and singer is reportedly getting treatment in Malibu. According to TMZ, Minnelli entered rehab several days ago – primarily to deal with issues of alcohol abuse.
"Liza Minnelli has valiantly battled substance abuse over the years and whenever she has needed to seek treatment she has done so," her rep said in a statement to FOX411. "She is currently making excellent progress at an undisclosed facility."
Minnelli has been in and out of rehab since the ‘80s and was last in rehab in 2004.
