It’s twilight time . . . again.
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have called it quits after more than three years of dating, People magazine reports.
The news follows reports that Pattinson backed out of his 27th birthday celebration, plans arranged by Stewart.
According to People, the couple was seen in New York together after the Met Gala and flew back to Los Angeles together on May 8. They recently celebrated Stewart’s birthday and were seen holding hands – despite the actress’ cheating scandal last year involving Rupert Sanders, the married director of Stewart’s film, “Snow White and the Huntsman.”
The affair was followed by a public apology from Stewart to Pattinson – with whom Stewart starred in the “Twilight” saga -- and the couple got back together less than two months later.
Stewart garnered the No. 1 spot as the “least-trusted movie star in America” in a recent Reader’s Digest Poll.
Both Stewart and Pattinson's reps have remained quiet on rumors of their most recent split.
