Thieves stole $10 million in jewelry after tying Kardashian up
In an appearance on Monday’s episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Kris Jenner revealed that filming “Keeping up with the Kardashians” was therapeutic for daughter Kim Kardashian West after her high-profile Paris robbery.
In a teaser for the upcoming season of "Keeping up with the Kardashians," viewers witnessed the 36-year-old tearfully recount the October 2016 incident that took place at the No Address Hotel in which masked men reportedly tied her up, threaten her with a gun and made off with millions of dollars in jewelry.

“We started filming and what was coming out of that was very therapeutic for her, I think, to just explain to us and walk us through,” explained the 61-year-old momager/executive producer. “And now, we just started seeing some of the stuff that had come out of those days, and nobody can even get through the first five minutes without being hysterical.”
“But it’s remarkable to listen to her tell the story, and she does that because she thinks that it might also bring some awareness,” added Jenner. “And it’s changed the way we live our lives and just the way we take care of our kids and my grandchildren, and so it’s been a process.”
Jenner also said that she, too, shed tears after watching the footage.

“I just saw some of it, and I couldn’t even watch the whole thing,” said Jenner. “I mean, it was so upsetting. It was such an upsetting time when something so awful happened to somebody that you love so much. It chokes me up every time I think about it.”
