Have you ever wondered why Kim Kardashian is considered a "star"? Why her wedding was considered the American version of the "royal" wedding (barf)? How a sex tape and a plus-sized tush translated into millions of dollars?

So have we. And it turns out, we're not alone. According to Parade magazine's Pop Culture Poll 2011 with omg! on Yahoo!, Kardashian is the Most Annoying Celebrity, with 29 percent of the vote.

"Famous for being famous, Kim, in particular, has been inescapable, with her recent wedding and honeymoon reported just about everywhere," Parade explains.

Charlie Sheen came in second, with 27 percent of the vote (winning? not really), and inexplicable "Jersey Shore" phenomenon Snooki came in third, with 21 percent.
