Ding! Kris Humphries' 15 minutes may be up. They are for his marriage to vixen celeb Kim Kardashian.
TMZ is reporting that the reality show diva has filed for divorce from her Nets ball player, man Kris Humphries, after a mere 72 days of being husband and wife.
Seems like the swirling rumors about trouble in paradise were true after all.
Kim K isn’t the only A- star celeb whose marriage just didn’t work out.
Besides following in Jennifer Lopez’s footsteps with Ojani Noa, Chris Judd, and Marc Anthony there is Mariah Carey and Tommy Mottola, Luis Miguel and Aracely Arambula, Eva Longoria and Tony Parker, Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman, Luis Fonsi and Adamari Lopez, Sara Maldonado and Billy Rozvar, and last but certainly not least George Lopez and Ann Serrano.
Despite Kim K’s marriage crumbling, the sexy entrepenuer can draw hope from the examples of other celebrities with lasting “I Do’s” such as Paulina Rubio and Nicolás Colate Vallejo-Najera, Salma Hayek and François-Henri Pinault (minus the baby super-model-momma-drama on the side of course), Charytín and her husband Elin Ortiz, and Gloria and Emilio Estefan (She claims he was her first and only boyfriend… oh boy!)
Kardashian will not seek annulment of the union and was filed for divorce under “irreconcilable difference,” TMZ has learned.
Since Kim K made sure to have a prenuptial agreement in place, TMZ is reporting that she wants her soon-to-be ex to pay for his own lawyer. She's also asked the court to turn down any alimony request from Humphries.
