Kim Kardashian engaged to Kanye West, report says

After dating for more than one year and having a baby girl together, Kim Kardashian, 33, and Kanye West, 36, are officially engaged, according to E! News.

West put a ring on it — on a very special day. Kanye proposed to Kim on her 33rd birthday, making an engagement the best present of all.

Kanye rented out the AT&T park in San Francisco and proposed in front of friends and family — and a 15-piece orchestra. He reportedly presented her with a 15-karat Lorraine Schwartz sparkler as well. Now that’s how it’s done.

“Kanye wanted to make Kim’s birthday something she would never forget. Kim is on cloud nine and couldn’t have asked for anything more on her day. She is in a great place with her child healthy and happy and now getting engaged seals the deal on her happiness,” a source told HollywoodLife.com.

Kanye even told fans he wanted to marry Kim. 

Before he took the stage in Seattle on Oct. 20 to kick off his Yeezus concert, Kanye announced to Kim and a crowd of fans that he’s planning to put a ring on her finger.

One of the fans told HollywoodLife.com that Kanye told the group, “Isn’t my girl the most beautiful woman ever — no, I mean ever? One day she’s going to be my wife.”

We’re told Kim blushed and said, “Kanye. You’re too much” and gave him a kiss.

Kim began dating Kanye shortly after ending her marriage with Kris Humphries. The newly engaged duo have been friends for years. The couple’s daughter, North West, was born on June 15.
