Kevin Bacon has new following of fans
55-year-old actor says working on a TV series wasn't part of his plan
Kevin Bacon is calling on Hollywood to let more male actors “free the bacon” — or in other words — go nude on the big screen.
In a new video posted online, he called on the entertainment industry to let men literally show their “weiner, balls and butt.”
He argued it was not fair to actresses who are doing the majority of nude scenes in films compared to men.
“In so many films and TV shows we see gratuitous female nudity, and that’s not OK… It’s OK, but it’s not fair to actresses and it’s not fair to actors because we want to be naked, too,” Bacon said in the NSFW video.
Bacon listed the graphic sex scenes in the hit TV series "Game of Thrones" as an example of where there’s too much female nudity
“You got three sex scenes an episode, how hard would it be to just show one or two weiners every couple of minutes? This is an issue of gender equality. Let me be on the show. Come on, I’ll play a naked wizard or something,” he said.
“I’ve done it before. Have you seen Wild Things? I was super naked there, it was awesome.”
He also criticized "Fifty Shades of Grey," saying that the lead actor, Jamie Dornan, should’ve been seen naked.
“Why not let Jamie Dornan take off his pants?” he said.
“Or better yet why not let me play Christian Grey?”
Bacon then couldn’t help himself, and threw in an idea for the Marvel movie franchise.
“Hey Marvel I have an idea for a superhero, it’s me, and guess what, I have an infinity stone on the tip of my weiner,” he said,
He also said he regularly puts nudity clauses in his movie contracts, but gets frustrated when they are removed.
