Kelly Ripa is not letting any work-related drama dampen her wedding anniversary celebration.
The talk-show host commemorated two decades of marriage to husband Mark Consuelos on Sunday with a sweet Instagram post of the two cuddled together.
"The Roaring 20!" she wrote. "I love you @instasuelos #cheerstotwentyyears."
The long-time lovebird met on the set of “All My Children” in 1995 and eloped in 1996. They have three children together.
Ripa’s post comes just a week after the two reportedly traveled to Turks and Caicos for a family vacation right in the middle of the ongoing work drama on her morning talk show “Live with Kelly and Michael.” The drama stemmed from her TV partner Michael Strahan’s announcement that he’s leaving the show for a full-time gig on “Good Morning America.”
She subsequently took several days off from "Live" and, when she returned, said she'd needed to gather her thoughts and that "apologies have been made." Strahan is set to leave May 13.
While a rep for the show said her getaway was preplanned, many speculated that Ripa’s absence from the show was all because of Strahan’s announcement.
Despite their tumultuous two weeks, Ripa and Strahan took home the Daytime Emmy Award for best entertainment talk show host for the second year in a row.
Neither Ripa or Strahan showed up at the non-televised ceremony in Los Angeles to claim the award.
Mario Lopez is reportedly being considered as Strahan's replacement.
