Pop princess Katy Perry is roaring like a cougar over a college-football hero — who happens to be eight years her junior, the New York Post reports.
The 29-year-old “California Gurl” sang the praises of Oklahoma Sooners star Trevor Knight, 21, as she gave her pregame predictions during “College GameDay” on ESPN.
“I’m picking this one based on looks. Trevor Knight, do you hear me?” Perry said after being asked to pick a winner in the contest between Knight’s fourth-ranked Oklahoma team and No. 25 TCU on Saturday.
“The quarterback for Oklahoma, we don’t mind. So I’m going to go with him. Trevor Knight, call me!” she shouted, her thumb and pinkie at her ear and lips.
Perry’s hotness handicapping system proved ineffective, as Knight’s Sooners lost 37-33.
